About EASE 3.0

Some words of wisdom about EASE in general. Over the last years EASE has become one of the most powerful and accurate acoustic prediction programs in the world. It actually has become the industry standard for sound reinforcement modeling. EASE 3.0 has currently over 3000 users.

The EASE 3.0 software offers you the comfort of the Windows environment without losing the functionality of the 2.1 version. Included are:

  1. A fully accessable wall material and speaker model database.
  2. A complete CAD module to enter buildings, stadiums and furniture
  3. A sophisticated rendering module that gives you a three-dimensional impression how your room looks like.
  4. An advanced ray tracing and mirror imaging module, that allows you to calculate the frequency response of the room at different spots.
  5. The enhanced probe module, that makes it possible to examine the response of the room in the frequency and in the time domain as well as in the angular resolution
  6. The brand new real time auralisation tool, which allows you to hear any sound real time convolved with the response of any location.
  7. An import and export module which takes care of your Ease 2.1 projects, Cadp2 data, DXF files and Ascii files.

The well known program EARS is now available as a program for Windows, too. It includes also the new Real Time Auralisation tool that has been jointly developed with Lake, Australia, and the Cross Talk Cancellation (XTC) function VMAx of Harman International, USA.
